Campus Interview Part-4

Hi All,

This blog is a continuation of my previous blog, after a week there was another off campus interview and the company was Virtusa, which was held in same KLN Engineering college. As usual Magesh, Kathiravan and I reached the KLN Engineering College at 7:30AM and finished our breakfast in the college canteen. We all prepared well for the written exam.

Around 9AM, we entered the auditorium where the Virtusa officials gave introduction about their organization. Around 10AM, we had our written test and I was able to answer most of the questions. I was sure that I will pass written test this time, because I did the written test well compared to previous two written test. Virtusa officials told the result will be announced at 3PM.

Around 1PM went for lunch along with my friends and came to the college again around 2PM. Around 2:45PM, we all went to the auditorium. This time I was confident that I will be selected. As I thought, I cleared the written test, along with me Kathiravan also passed the written test. I was happy that he was with me for the next Group Discussion round.

My view about small scale business... Part 2

Hi Friends,
In the last blog I shared my view about Family business. In this blog I am going to write about the Unexpected Entry in the business. Unexpected entry means our intension is not to start business, accidently we were started or involved in that.

One small example, you are planned to buy one building. Land lord will only give the building if you buy the entire machine inside that. At that time you are starting the business with those machines means, this business come under the Unexpected Entry.

In this unexpected entry we may miss the guidelines from the domain experts. But previous labor force will help us. Maintaining the business is individual’s talent. This type is somewhat harder than the Family Business and easier than the New Startup.

Srithar

unforgettable person and incident with him.........

I remember one day at the communication session Renishya start an activity as all should pen down about their unforgettable incident or person in their life, flowingly all should present them. I feel it’s a nice time for me as to think about one of my friend, whom I admired and yet admiring. That day before I take my chance to share it with my friends session was over.

He is Madhan whom I admired. We were good friends even from the kindergarten level. He is sharp is studies, conviction in his thoughts. It was his reality. This was the one character which turns my mind to admire him, later seeing many other who tries to make this as their reality.

It was the day we got the higher secondary result, after seeing my result as 90% with full enthusiasm I went to his house. There was a huge crowed in front of his house. I was trying to move inside but I was not permitted. When I checked outside Raj TV caravan was there, and then I came to know that he have scored the first rank for Madurai district. That was an unforgettable delight incident ever in my life.

English

I am one of the person who loves to speak and write English.I like many languages but I  always prefer to speak English.Just 26 letters are there in english but these letters sounds different in different places ,when you are framing a word.
In day today's life, speaking in English has become a passion.Parents feel pride when they see thier children speaking English. You feel the respect when you speak to others in English specially when you talk with officers.
I had many incidents like these which made me to think so, it may or may not be true.I usually see that when ever people do speak a good English always get recruited at first.
I am basically from Anglo-Indian school but I find diffucult to pronounce different words.People pronounce different words in different styles so it was too tough to grasp the pronouniciation of a word.I feel much pleasing when someone speak's good English with good style.
I feel like ,I am in an era of learning and speaking English. It's always better to change ourself to the change what you are looking for,so I feel to change myself to give a try, how to speak a better English in better style....

Formal dress code.

Hi Friends,
You all know that am going to take presentation on formal dress coding today afternoon. I decide to write blog on formal dress coding today its easy for all of us to get some idea about formal dressing. I know that none of us love to wear suit and coats but its a formal dressing.Am not here to tell that all of us has to wear suits instead of wearing suits if we follow some basic rules of dressing it shows us a formal dressed human.Try to avoid using half hands shirt and chapels when coming to office.Use dark color Trousers with light color full hand shirts. Don't use belts which are made up of clothes. Use belt which made of leather with colors black or brown. The belt should be a same color of your shoes.Polish your shoes daily.Don't over polish your shoes also. The shocks which you are using should be long enough not to expose your skin when you sit down. Wash your shocks daily. At least shave your mustache twice in a week. The head hair also be neatly trimmed one. Casual does not mean that you can show up wearing anything that you want. Casual doesn't mean sloppy.Your clothing should be neat and clean. wait till afternoon to get more information on formal dressing on my presentation.

Campus Interview Part-3

Hi All,

This blog is a continuation of my previous blog, after two day there was another off campus interview and the company was IBM, which was held in same KLN Engineering college. But this time I put some amount of effort to pass the written test before appearing for the interview. Like the first interview Magesh, Kathiravan and I reached the KLN Engineering College at 7:30AM and finished our breakfast in the college canteen.

Around 9AM, we entered the auditorium where the IBM officials gave introduction about their organization, also they mentioned there were lots of flexibilities in work, like working from home, lots of on-sites,etc. So immediately, I told myself that "I have to placed in this company". Around 10AM, we had our written test but this time I was not totally blank and I was able to answer more than half of the questions. IBM officals told the result will be announced at 4PM.

Around 1:30PM went for lunch along with my friends and came to the college again around 2:30PM. Around 3:45PM, we all went to the auditorium where the results will be announced at 4PM. This time I was confident that I would be selected, but I was not through so I was little disappointed. During this interview only I came to know about VijayaKumar, he clears both previous and this written test.

My view about small scale business...

Hi,

Lot of people is showing their interest in Business. Only few people made their footprint . In the business world, we can categorize business initiative in to three. Those are

    1. Family business
    2. Unexpected Entry
    3. New Startup

Family business
Family business is quite easy compared to others. Because we could have the business knowledge and we will get the good guidelines form our family members. Investment is not a big problem in most of the cases. But running business is fully based on the individual talent. Before starting the family businesses I think we no need to spend lot of time for analyze the market condition, which means compared to the Unexpected Entry and New Startup.

I will share my view about business in upcoming blogs.

Srithar

Colours

Hi All,

During my childhood days, we had an option to wear colour dress on Friday and Saturday. The entire school will be very colorful. We worn the new festival dress on immediate Friday after festival.
Every one will be very happy. We receive comments about the new dress from friends. We also got to know the latest fashion. After some years, the management decided to allow casuals only on Saturday. I urged for Saturday. Working Saturday was very limited. I felt very bad for it. Really my childhood days was filled with colours.

Campus Interview Part-2

Hi All,

This blog is a continuation of my previous blog, around 6PM Magesh and me reached Madurai, since KLN Engineering College was 20 KMs away from Madurai. Then we both decided to buy some aptitude book to improve each other's aptitude skills, so I bought R.S Agarwal Quantitative Aptitude book and Magesh bought one Shakuntala Devi puzzle book, because Magesh already had the R.S Agarwal Quantitative Aptitude book.

Magesh was very sad for not passing the written test and kept on asking me to come with him to bar for drink(Beer or Wine). Initially I told No, then after sometime told okay. Around 7PM reached one bar near Madurai Periyar bus stand, also finished our dinner in the same bar by having mostly snacks and eggs.

Magesh was kept on talking some story about the written test and why he was not selected. Around 8:30PM, came out of the bar and got a bus for our town at 9PM and reached my house around 11PM. This was my first interview experience and I was neither sad nor happy about this interview. Since I was always believe in a famous quote "Whatever happens everything for good".

The Naughty Boy

Hope all of you great…. :)

I will start narrating the one small story named “The Naughty Boy”. This is one of the small story in the book named “Wonderful Stories for Children”. I read this book because we also don’t believe, don’t accept about the good things until someone will explain with an example as a proof.
“Wonderful Stories for Children” this is the book which is mainly used by the teachers who handles KG students and parents who have under 6 years’ child/children. They usually tell the story to their children to explain the things in an attractive and interesting manner so that the children won’t forget it.
The first story which I read from this wonderful book is “The Naughty Boy” This story explains the good character about an old good poet. Let me narrate the story in my own style.
Once upon a time an old poet, one evening, sat at his home, the rain poured down outside the door, the weather was very dreadful. The poet sat so comfortably and he was preparing his dinner in such a good humor.  Suddenly he heard the voice of a little child outside, it cried and knocked the door saying that “I am freezing, I’m so we, let me in!!!”
The poet thought there is a poor little soul, and he got up to open the door. There was a little boy, he didn’t have any cloths on and the rain ran off from his long yellow hair. He shook with the cold and the poet took him by the hand with very pleasant care. The poet gave some dresses to the little boy and he seated himself by the stove and took the boy upon his knee, he wrung the rain out of his hair and warmed his hands in his and made him some sweet wine for him with the hot roasted apple to the pretty boy. Now the little boy came to the normal condition, and the same time the rain was stopped outside. The boy jumped down upon the floor and danced in front of the poet. The poet asked the name of the boy, He replied, “Everyone call me Love”. He had one bow; the poet saw the bow and said the bow was spoiled. Then the boy took it up and said that it was quite dry and let me try it.
He strung it, laid an arrow upon it, took his arm and shot the old poet right through the heart! And said that my bow was not spoiled at all and laughing as loud as he could, and ran away. Then the poet was felt about the boy and his behavior, What a naughty boy he is … He thought that and decided to tell this to our children what are the things to do which is good for us.  Finally He slept in the bed and thought this incident.

From this story, the poet takes the things in the very positive manner and he is going to teach other children with that incident. I know this is a little bore story but this is the story which is very small in that book. In my next blog, I will try to narrate some interesting story.

Take care…

Campus Interview

Hi All,

During my fifth semester, my aggregate was 81% without any standing arrears. So I was qualified to attend my first off campus interview, the company was L&T Infotech, which was held in KLN Engineering College. Around 7:30AM Magesh, Kathiravan and me reached KLN Engineering College and had breakfast in the college canteen. Then one by one mostly all of our friends reached college, then we were talking for a while.

Then around 8:30AM, we were called for verification regarding our college, academic aggregate, etc. We entered the auditorium by 8:45AM, around 9AM L&T officials reached the auditorium for giving some brief introduction about their organization. After that around 10AM we had our written test which was for 3 hours from 10AM to 1PM. Written test was full of verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, etc. I was totally blank after seeing the question paper. In fact I didn't have any experience in solving puzzles or verbal or non-verbal reasoning before appearing for this interview. Somehow finished the written test and L&T officals told the result will be announced at 4PM.
Around 1:30PM went for lunch along with my friends and came to the college again around 2:30PM, from that time we all were sharing some fun inside the campus. Around 3:45PM, all the students rushed towards the auditorium where the results will be announced at 4PM. We all were waiting for the results, I didn't have any belief that I will pass the written test. Then L&T officials started announcing the results, only person selected from my friend circle was Kathiravan, he was good at solving puzzles.

Football Match

Hope you all are aware about the Euphoria club's Events.Football was the first one to start by sport's committee and this is followed by many other games. It's tedious job to conduct a football match. We have to take care of all the required things for playing a game.Starting from the ball till snacks,we have to keep all the things arranged before the game starts.
On 19th morning ,I have started around 6 am from my room.I had a checklist to check all the items and it was ready by the time I reached office.Magesh was taking responsibility of arranging the snacks ,First aid kit and the ball.I felt happy when I saw them with all arranged.
I reached football around 6.45 am and I noticed that boundaries where not marked completely.Half a ground is left without marking the boundaries.I was little tensed when I noticed these things.Match is about to start at 7 am but the way ,things where going on didn't made me to feel so.I hurried up the things and made it to finish at least after 15 minutes. So the match started at 7.15 am.

Let me reveal some secrets about the match when I was conducting the match as a referee.Just follow me in my next post... :)

Good Morning to all..........

Good morning to all. I had a plan of spending last week end with my college friends in Bangalore. At college days we would often make a bike trip, to make a remembrance of those days. We planned for biking last week (A three years later). My expectation for that moment was high. An incident breaks all that expectation to a pain that was my friend’s dad died suddenly of a heart attack. He was a principal of a government arts college in “kamudhi” near to Madurai. To us personally he is one such a nice man to share everything. It was a mourning week end for me.
