Campus Interview Part-5

Hi All,

This blog is a continue my campus interview experience, after an hour they called us for the group discussion round. Kathiravan and I was in the same panel, the group discussion topic was "Indian Traffic System". Immediately one boy initiated the discussion and I was feeling little nervous and waiting to for my turn but no one allowing me and few others to talk. So the interviewer told lets give chance to all the persons in the discussion and so that they can express there views.

Then I got chance and gave my views on the traffic system and the discussion went on for an hour and I was satisfied with my performance. Kathiravan and I was waiting for the results for more than two hours in a auditorium. They came around 5:30PM and announced the results, we both were selected for the next round that was on next day.

World cup finals

                     Indian bowler’s performance in the last 10 over was too bad compared with the previous over; this is used Sri Lanka to get good score in the final. That time our team victory was in like cat on the wall, it can go at any side. We have good batting order, but the same time opponent team also has the fantastic bowlers.  We had the trust on openers, if they shine well we can win otherwise we may lose the match. 

                     First over was bowled by Malinga who is one of the best bowlers in the world. In the first ball Sehwag was out, and also Sehwag wasted one review. Other batsman showed their fantastic performance for the team. India won in the finals at last. This is the unforgettable incident of this year for me. Instead of watching the 1983 winning videos, in live I watched the winning movements. My only feeling is MS played well in the final only, but he bagged the full support. Others name is not coming out.

                     In my home town everyone burst the crackers and shared the sweets to all. That was the fantastic moments for all of us. In my room we were started dancing and shouted for more than half an hour. I don’t know, this much interest in the cricket is good for our economy or not. It creates happy and enthusiasm in us.

CPF Data Fetcher a new desktop application for Vanbeek

I’m currently working in the development of new application said as CPF Data Fetcher. This application we are doing specifically for Vanbeek. Requirement we get for this application was, on daily basis they need to take back up of account creditors and debaters. This application serves their requirement by, once configuring the start date for data backup and number of periods for backup process. A schedule activity will run internally and do the process of data backup daily from the start date till the number of periods it is configured. This application core requirement taken into consideration can also be expanded even to a product level.

Last weekend with my room mates(April 1st week)

                          Last week’s weekdays three of us from my room planned to buy one bicycle each. Friday we started earlier for the shopping. We searched the shop in Cross cut road, 100 feet road and DB road. We found 4 shops in those areas, In First 3 shops they haven’t had the verity of models. At last we found one big shop. They displayed all the models in the show room between the ranges of Rs 3,000 to Rs 19000. We planned to buy bicycle for Rs 4000, but while we seeing the higher end models our entire mind changed. Finally we brought bicycles for Rs 6000 after the negotiation.

                         At last we went to CFC restaurant, and had heavy dinner. We returned back to room. We slept at 1AM after the usual talks and fights. Saturday I woke up at late morning and I had bread. I planned to spend time in office due to the regular power cut. In office I watched some videos in FB and You Tube. At 1.30PM I started to home for the ever big event for the year World cup finals between India and Sri Langa. Once I reached home I got to know that there was no power. I think everyone in my area scolded Tamil Nadu politicians of course in my room everyone scolded. I think this will reflect in upcoming state electionJ. We went to Sreekanth M mansion there they used to put electric generator so we spend one half there.

My First Air Travel Part-6

Hi All,

In this blog I gonna to continue the saga of my first air travel experience, I entered into the flight and sat on my seat 43J, one Chinese copule came and asked me that can you swap seat with him seat, so that they both can sit together. I told sure, they told me that it was 17C and I moved to seat 17C. I felt very tried so within fifteen minutes I slept, after an hour hostess woke me for having breakfast, I asked her scrambled egg and orange juice for breakfast. During that time I didn't know that I can also ask for wine, but had white wine while coming back to India :).

Then again slept for almost an hour then again hostess woke me and asked do you want something to drink, I told her Yes need some water. After that I didn't sleep so started watching some film, I watched two movies Salt and 127 Hours. Then had lunch and again slept for an hour. The traveling time from Dubai to Amsterdam was six hours and thirty minutes. We landed Amsterdam around 5PM IST.

After completing immigration check and came to arrivals in another one hour and thirty minutes and we where in Arrival 3 and waiting for the taxi driver. But not able to find him, so I told Velshankar that I will go and search for that taxi driver in other arrivals and I found him, he was waiting for us in Arrival 2. Also he told me that Arrival 2 was meeting point for all Cordys employees, So if your traveling to Netherlands be there in Arrival 2.

Then he took us to the taxi, I was in for a surprise because it was Mercedes Benz for picking us to the Putten office. It was luxuries and felt happy to in that car for an hour, he drove through seventy odd kilometers less than an hour and we reached the Castle around 8PM IST. Immediately after reaching room Hans Don called me and told me that he was coming to my room now to take us to the office and give some introduction. After five minutes Hans Don and took us to the office and introduced us to Henk, Hasselman and Hendrik.
