Nokia Laying off their Symbian Developers

Hi All,

I like to share the biggest news that shook many Symbian users/developers around the world, Nokia announced that they are going to move 3000 Symbian developers to Accenture and 4000 Symbian developers will lose their jobs by 2012. The future of Symbian platform was now a Big question mark and also for the Symbian mobile users. Hope some company will come forward and adopt Symbian foundation like HP adopted the Palm(WebOS) mobile platform a year ago.

Update on Philips Certify application

               Application is in the testing stage. We covered all the functional needs of customer. Nizar is doing the testing meanwhile Mustafa and I also doing the testing. Now application got the good shape. Last week we showed the application to the Henk and Richards.   I think this is the first review meeting without Siva, Usually Siva only present the application. This time Siva took leave, so Mustafa and I present the application to them. Good experience for us. I am happy with my performance.   Need to improve moreJ.

               This is the first blog after the Renishya resignation. She is a good mentor. Whenever I approached her for language help, she used to come forward with smiling face. Thanks a lot Renishya for your support.

Campus Interview Part-7

Hi All,

This blog is a continuation of my campus interview experience, we were in situation to take Ramesh Raja to his home. On the way to his home in bus, Magesh called Ramesh Raja's brother and told about the situation. Ramesh Raja's brother told us that his father was waiting for us even though it was around 12AM, Ramesh Raja's brother somehow managed his father and we all went to sleep in the trace without meeting his father. After sometime his father came to us and give some lecture to us and then after some half an hour, Ramesh Raja's brother asked his father to come down and took him to home.

Then we all woke at around 7AM, when we came down and went into the home. Ramesh's father was waiting for us to give another lecture and he kept on talking for an hour and finally we told him that its time we are having to go for interview and we all left. Kathiravan and I reached the KLN college around 9AM and we were waiting for the interview. Kathiravan was called first and I was called second .
