My Bike Part-2

Hi All,

This blog is a continuation of my previous blog. As my mother was in for a suprise after knowing that I didn't know bike riding. After sometime, I called Kathiravan over the phone and told him that my father brought a new bike for me. Then immediately, he told me that he was coming to my home to see the bike.

He reached my home in ten minutes, then we went to the parking area and he had a look at the bike. Because Yamaha Gladitor bike was launched in India a week ago. Infact I am the first person to own Yamaha Gladitor in and around my town. He also added the bike was looking good, then he asked me to start and ride the bike.

I started but before the bike moves from first gear I made the bike to jerk and the bike got off, like this I did three to four time. Then he told me to get down and let him ride, I gave the bike to him. He went for a ride around my home. Infact it was my bike but first person to ride the bike was Kathiravan. For a week, he was helping me to ride my bike again hats off to his patience.

Thereafter I started to learn things on my own, daily after coming from college for more than two hours I spent to learn bike riding. Within two weeks I learned mostly everything including riding in the city traffic.

Atos Application

            Last two days I am working in unnamed application. This application experience is entirely different from the previous applications because we don't have any clear requirement documents. First day while reading the application documents, I and Mustafa didn't get any idea about the functionality. After some time I could see the business analyst inside us :). I started telling imagination story about the application requirement if I struggled anywhere Mustafa continued to complete the story. Finally I and Mustafa developed some story about the application in mind.

           I want to mention one thing here, while we were in the discussion in middle Henk and Richard spoke in Dutch very speedily. I and Mustafa were looked each other and thinking why we can’t understand their English. At last only we were relished they spoke in Dutch.

Dhoni & Raina Rocks

Yesterday the World Cup Warm up match is between India & Newzeland. India won the toss and decided to bat first.Am eagerly wait to see Tendulkar and Sehwag batting. They went out cheaply scoring low scores. I closed the browser and gone back to my work.Then Siva called me for discussion. In the meeting room we had a discussion about test cases. When i came back and open the Cricinfo website and seen the score am amazed. Dhoni back to form he hit 5 fours in oram over. Then raina also playing very well in an other end. Finally India scored 360. India won by 117 runs. India take this form to the World cup also then am sure India will win World cup.

Repeated success leads to the Performance Punishment

It is an article which was published in Hindu yesterday. When I was reading the article, I got an idea that in today’s blog why I can’t narrate this, since in my last blog, I had promised all of you that I will start with the ‘Treasure island’ story.  But finally I had decided this “Performance Punishment” as my today’s blog, because it is very important for all of them who are working in IT sector. Moreover, don’t tell to anyone, I didn’t complete the first chapter of the “Treasure Island”. Let me narrate “Performance Punishment” as per my understanding, incase anything wrong, accept my apologies.

                “Repeated success leads to the Performance Punishment “; it is the title of that article. When I read the title, I thought that when the employee joins into the company as a fresher he usually gives his full effort in order to achieve the target as well as he needs to prove himself to his lead/team and then day by day, he will lose his effort. This was the understanding when I read the title of this article. But is it correct?

                The Answer is    ‘No’.

                When the employee joins as fresher, usually he will be assigned for a particular project, once he completed successfully with effective manner, he will get a good impression from his team as well as his manager, so continuously he will get good choice and multiple projects at the time, he will complete all the things successfully, again the expectation of his team on him will be increased, so he will get full burn down, over a period he slowly lose his effort in order to achieve the time line or target, etc…

The article says that, the burn down is the punishment. So what is remedy to overcome this?

Before accepting the new task, just ensure about your capacity, based on that you will accept it, and don’t accept everything immediately if you want to think, ask the team to give time to think.

Anyway this was my one of the favorite article so far….

This all things I have noticed from that article, if I said anything wrong, please help me to correct.

Craze on hearing stories

Hi All,

During my school days, there were lot of funs in the school. Especially, i enjoyed a lot during my eleventh standard. The pressure of board exam got released. My friend, Siva Cherma Prabhu used to narrate some stories that he read from the book. He is very eager in reading adventurous and thrilling stories. He is very fond of Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes. He has the skill to involve us into the story while narrating the story. He is enthusiastic to narrate the story. He had read all the 7 parts of Harry Potter. He readily buys the book at any cost. He transformed me the fan of the Harry Potter. I remember that the Harry Potter movie released during my 8th or 9th Standard. When i was not aware of Harry Potter, i got a chance to watch the movie. But the movie was not interesting. I didn't continue watching the movie. The moment after i heard the story narrated by my friend, it induced my interest on Watching the Harry Potter movie. I immediately got the movie to watch. I also have the copy of all movie part of Harry Potter with me now. Everyone will not have the driving power or attracting power. Hats Off Siva Prabhu!..

My Bike

Hi All,

During my college second year, I was asking my father to buy a new bike for me. He told first get driving license then let me see. I informed this to Kathiravan (friend of mine). He told it’s very easy to obtain driving license. Immediately, we decided to take driving license for both of us, since he too didn’t have driving license. But he knew to ride but I didn’t know how to ride bike. I told him that, I don’t know bike riding, he told just you have to ride in such a way that you have to put shape of eight using your bike. So we joined a driving school and on the same day itself we obtained the learner's license and our driving exam day was after a week.

During the week, I even forgot about the driving exam, but a day before the driving exam only I remembered tomorrow is driving exam and called Kathiravan over the phone and asked him to bring his father's two wheeler, so that I can learn driving. He was helping me for almost three hours and he made me to put eight by riding. I have to thank him for his patience.

Next day, we appeared for the driving exam. First I was called for the driving exam and without any struggle I passed the driving exam and next Kathiravan was called for the driving exam and he too passed the driving exam with ease. After few hours they issued the driving license on the same day. After getting the driving license I went to my father's office and shown him that now I have the driving license. So now buy a new bike for me, he just told okay.

After three days, that’s was on 03/08/2006 I was coming back to home from college. When I reached the my street beginning I was able to see a new blue color bike (Yamaha Gladiator) was there in front of my home. Initially I thought that maybe some other person's bike and also had a guess like my father might brought that one for me. When I entered home my mother came smiling towards me and shown me the bike key. I was in for a surprise and she asked me to get ready we can go to temple. I told just oh! okay (Because I don’t have any experience in riding bike inside the city and also not even ride the bike other than one and second gear). I got the key from my mother and went near the bike and took the bike to park without starting the bike.

After parking the bike, I went inside the home and my mother was ready for going to temple. She said come on we can go to temple, I told will go tomorrow and she told No No.. we have to go now and she kept on telling me get ready get ready.. I got irritated and in angry voice I told I don’t know riding the bike inside the city she was in for a surprise and asked in loud voice “Don’t know riding?” I just told "Yes".

Coming to my work, last couple of months i have been involved in R&D of new component coming in DocEx.


Why DocEx? so before that we need to know future market.Single Cloud application, two Cloud Applications, time goes on huge number of cloud applications.If i want some work i have subscribe to the corresponding cloud application and start working on that.


So Whenever new requirement comes whether i have to subscribe to cloud application? OK if i have 100 requirements i have to subscribe 100 cloud applications? This is really headache right? yes correct.


Now whats the solution. Solution is some mediator is required for handling the transactions with the other cloud applications. He will be take care of sending whatever data that other cloud party wants.   


i.e we are calling it as B2B Integration Process.this enables the business people to integrate their cloud applications to other cloud applications.Once when B2B Process got the data from other source cloud application you can do the mapping , conversions or get data from other source etc etc and last you push the data to other cloud


So we are involved in discussing what all elements we need to take when  one cloud application talks other cloud application.


So while making this integration process if any business person wants to share the Integration Process with other business person, he can share.So once share, other business person will get notification like in face book, ! you got one integration process to see.


That business person can able to give the comments like in facebook.


if that business person has permission to edit he can able edit that Integration Process.Once his changes has been done a notification will sent to first business person same as like in facebook.


OK, we are doing facebook functionalities in our B2B Integration Process. There question can't we integrate this with directly in facebook? yes we can that is also in pipeline.

Disk brakes often help...

Yesterday I left office around 8pm.Generally I will be riding around 60 km/hr in my bike. But I was not riding at that speed yesterday. I was driving only around 40 km/hr. After reaching Kalapatti Piruvu, I felt that road was too occupied by two wheelers and cars.

When I was just opposite to Guru Amuthas hotel, I got annoyed by the car driver who was driving at the right corner of the road and he was driving in a rash manner. For a while, I turned towards my right to see the car driver. Alas! I found the car which was travelling before me stopped suddenly due to some problems and it frightened me. I strive to stop my bike using disk brakes. My bike was dancing as I applied the brakes strongly and then it stopped else it would have clashed with the Swift car which was standing in front.

This is one of the incidents which revealed me that disk brakes are useful if you know how to use it and also to move in a moderate speed. I too got a injury with disk brakes when I was using it for the first time. A proverb comes to my mind.

Today am going to tell about two interesting things which i came across. The first news is that i completed two chapter in the novel "The stories of Sherlock Holmes". When i started reading the book i won't think that i will complete the novel. But now am sure i will complete the novel.The main drawback is i need to search for the meaning for some words.Did any one have a novel with common words.

The second interesting news is the Elements present in the coca -coal has released. The coca-cola company has started in the area 1886. The government has the rule that every company should specify their ingredients in the Pricable Items.But in the coke you can able to see only Sugar,Water.Mixture of Artificial Ingredients. I had decided to concentrate only on communication for coming few months. Since I believed that communication was not a barrier to achieve anything, but I realized that it is also needed and everyone in the worlds always gives attention to the communication medium.  So finally I have started giving importance to that. I have started reading the novel ‘Treasure Island’. Upcoming days, I would like to tell the story in our blog.

Angry my worst enemy in life

After I complete my college, one fine day I just think about my past days. One thing which repeatedly struck my mind was I miss the fellowship with persons by getting angry thinking that situation deprives my self esteem. Most of these situations end with a break in relationship. I feel if I dint change this character my professional career won’t be good. I practice myself to keep my mind cool in situations which are even negative for me. Yes other than depriving good relation angry can’t achieve anything……………………..

FootBall

Hi All,

          Foot ball fever affects all of us in my company.  House matches is going start form this weekend. In these days i can see all house members in the ground. Yesterday also we had the good match, at same time head count was more for the small ground. Yesterday we found lot of new players, they played very well. I think house match will be very interesting than the last year cricket tournament.
 
          While running only we can see our stamina. In my school days, me played more than 1 hours daily. After long time i am playing foot ball. I am not able to run that much like my school days, anyhow i can run for some time. 

         Coming Saturday, My team has match against the House 1.

Playing inside classroom

Hi All,

During my sixth standard, my friends(Bala, Guru, Samuel, Ragul, Siddiq) and me have the habit of playing either throw ball or cricket inside the classroom before the classes start in morning, afternoon and evening. On one day we were playing thrown ball(six of us have been split into two teams and throwing the rubber ball hard at each other) which was during the morning section. Bala, Guru and me were in one team and rest of the three friends in other team.

As game progressed the game became more interesting and soon converted into fight. In our classroom there were two switchboards(one for tube lights and another for fans) made of plastic. Ragul thrown the ball very fast and hard at me to escape from that I just bend down and I didn't notice that the ball was going to hit one of the switchboards. Once ball hit the tube light's switchboard, the switchboard went into many pieces.

We tried to place the pieces in the perfect shape but we couldn't do that, then the school bell rang for the start of the school hours at 9AM. We all started to run and sit on respective places, so that we wont be caught by any staff. We all settled in their respective places and in two minutes, our English teacher came in. Before going to her chair she found switchboard have been broken. She immediately asked who broke this and there was pin drop silence in the class. She asked many times but none of us responded. So she called the P.T Master and informed the matter.

Our P.T Master will became very rude if we were not maintaining the discipline. He also asked many times but no one open the mouth. Since in our class we won't betrayal each other even girls won't do those things. So P.T Master asked entire class to kneel down until anyone of us answer his question. My friends and I decided better we can accept, since now entire class was suffering because of us. So my friends and I stood up and told we only broke the switchboard.

Then he took us to the ground and asked us to kneel down on the sand and he went. We were there for almost an hour and time was around 11:20Am. During that time Principal saw us, usually during 11Am he use to go for rounds in the school. He came towards us and asked today what's the reason for kneeling down? Since most of the time we were in ground or outside the classroom by kneeling down. We told the matter, then he called us and gave one beating each and told us go to the classroom.

Pricing App

Hi all,

Ramesh and I started developing the application Pricing App on the development server. We have completed the application object, forms and tabs. Application Privileges has to been done in detailed manner. The development of those app objects and forms went very soon because they were well analysed. We also designed all the form templates and its design. We have webservice, Process and Reports pending which will be taken in the sprint 2.

Small injuries hurt me a lot

Hi dudes,
You all know ,Saturday we have the football tournament. For tournament every team is practicing in the evening. On Friday evening me too joined the Football match. After long time I went to play. In my school days am a Football player i went for many tournaments and won titles. In school days i play in affence position and putted many goals. But on Friday when i started playing itself my fingers got injured. I know this will happen because i faced many situation like this when i played in my school days. I played with blood legs also in my tournaments. when compared to that this injury is very small to me but i it hurts me a lot. I cant even walk still i decided to played the game to get back my stamina and form.Yesterday evening also i went to play football. Unfortunately the same finger got injured once again. Then i stopped playing the game. Oh! how the days changed my body stamina got reduced . Once up on a time i don't think about the injuries i think about the games. But now a days thinking only about my body condition. Is it good or bad..................................

Feb14 Morning..

Hi All,

  

          As I told in the earlier post about my morning routine work, today also I went for jogging.I wore black track pant and gray T-shirt. I can see lot of differences in the road side because today I have started earlier. 

Two things happened today

1.  I listened two audio story files for my communication skill improvement. After that I switched over to "Hello FM".That time RJ told lot of jokes which was related to love, of course today is Valentine's day. Suddenly I couldn't stop laugh. That time one girl came in the opposite side, she was well dressed may be for Feb 14.  She felt annoyed. Suddenly I couldn't understand the reason of that girl's behavior. After few seconds only I realize the reason.  She thought I was laughing for her dress code.:)

2. Near AR Bakery (Saravanampatti), as everyone knows that is very crowded area. One girl came towards me with smiling face. She has couple of note books in hand and bag in shoulder. She took one paper and gave it to me, but she wasn't give it to people who are all crossed her. I read the notice. Information is one person called John is going to pray for people who are all in love, may be to reduce the sorrow. Till now I don't know why she gave it to me?

Nokia and Microsoft Join Hands

Hi All,

On last Friday, Nokia announced their strategic partnership with Microsoft and the primary mobile operating system for all mid and high end Nokia mobiles will run on Windows 7 and not Symbian any more. Also Nokia made changes in their current organizational structure which would result in job cuts of more than a thousand world wide. So on Saturday thousands of Nokia employees where protesting against the strategic partnership. Because over half of the Nokia employees were working in the Symbian platform R&D and now all their future is big question mark. But Nokia management took this decision to survive in the mobile market. Since their market share dropped from 47% to 28% in a very short span of two years.

Stories of shrelock holmes

Hi Friends,
Happy morning i think most of you enjoyed your weekend well. Here i start my post for this week with some interesting and excellent news. Yesterday world cup warm up match between India and Australia in that match India won. Friday evening there is small discussion between Me and Siva. Siva said"Nizar you are making mistake in tenses while speaking" to over come this error you have to read some novels. Once i went back to the home i rethink about the words said by Siva. I decided to read novels. I searched my room for some books. Finally i got lot of books with help of Rajesh. I selected one book name "The stories of sherlock holmes". when i started read the book i faced difficulties to read i can't even read a single page. Then i closed the book and went for gym.Once i came back to room on the way itself i finished my supper and slept on my bed for some relaxation at 9 P.M.Good nite friends here the staurday comes to an end. Sunday morning wake up at 7 A.M and went for gym. Once i comeback to the room i decided to read the book again. Now with more concentration and involvement i started to read. The pages not moving fast. Any how i completed 8 pages yesterday. Feel happy to say this that i started another new thing to improve my communication.

No need to prove ourselves until the competition begins

                Where ever we go, we should know the way to adopt ourselves with that particular locality. Everyone won’t have that capability, so they start practicing for that, as all of you know, “Practice makes perfect”. But some of them are not interested to practice that because they have the confidence to do it. Here is the problem comes for them, even for games, every players should prove themselves before got selecting, what am I trying to convey here is the selecting committee should have the confidence over the particular player then only that player will get the chance.

So there is no need to prove ourselves until the competition begins…………..
