My College Life.... Part 2

               One day I slept in the chemistry hour because I hate chemistry staff, he used to give lot of notes for us. He noticed me and asked my bench mats to woke me up. Everyone in the class laughed at me. Professor asked me the reason, I said like yesterday I have studied up to 12PM but i was not. Professor started kidding me and asked one question from the previous class. OMG, I answered the question because I studied that chapter in 12^th standard. Professor was appreciated(Not for sleeping) me and asked me to go rest room for face wash. I said OK and started walking to rest room. Suddenly chemistry professor changed his decision and asked me to take coffee in canteen.

            I said No, face wash is enough I replied.(because before 30 mins only i had the lunch)

          

           (Again he compelled  me). I don't have money.(To escape form him)

           Srithar, don’t you have money with you? He suddenly took 20Rs note and gave it to me.

           I said, no sir.

           I am going to take chemistry for 1 more hour, so have a coffee and egg buffs and then come back.

           I brought money from him. I went to canteen. I didn’t find any other way at that time.

                  I ate 2 egg buffs and drunken one coffee. I gave Rs20 to the canteen in charge. I returned back change Rs8 . I returned back to class and gave Rs8 change to the professor and sat in my seat without expecting any answer form him. Everyone laughed at me. After this incident I was become one of the popular member in my class. My chemistry professor used to call me at least 10 times daily.

Internet

Now days , Internet serves as one the main source of communication. Everyone started using internet ,starting from school students till retried  persons.It fulfills many person's needs and provides information to users within a short span time.Internet started in India at 1995 but it was not much popular and it boomed up when Google started at 1996.

As like others, I too started using internet from school days.I got astonished when I saw the Google site for the first time.I was surprised even more when they retrieved data from server with in 0.001 seconds.I was asking myself.. How come they can do that ?.Google which made it possible and even it made a primary school child to use to internet.I remember that I starting knowing the name internet at the age of 12.But now a days when a kinder class child comes to know about internet.It has lighten up many people and removed the ignorance.Thanks to Google which has shown us a new world

Castle Breakfast Menu

Hi All,

In this blog I wish to share the food items that you can get in our castle because I personally feel, this maybe informative for our team members and especially for you, since you could travel to The Netherlands in near future. When you entire the dinning hall, you can find lots of food varieties in the table mostly the item will be non-veg. So for vegetarians please make sure always that you have chosen the vegetarian items. Since today evening, Velshankar had non-veg gravy during the dinner without knowing it was a non-veg item. Until he read this blog, he wont know that he ate non-veg :).

@Velshankar - You may think why I didn't inform that to you. When I knew that it was non-veg, actually you finished having at that time and I felt not to let you at that time since you may vomit immediately after hearing from me. Anyway its all in the game and it happens at time :).

Let me come to the point, for breakfast you would have lots of options in choosing the items but no Indian food items. That wont make you like this :( since mostly you may like the items that are available in the castle and you can see the sample of that items that we were have in morning in the below image. In the image there were five plates, since from yesterday three Cordys-CoE colleagues joined us in the castle.

Let me also list all the breakfast items that we can get in the castle, six variety of breads, four variety of rusk, four variety of butter, two variety of yogurt, four variety of fruit juices(apple, orange, strawberry and kiwi), milk, boiled eggs, scrambled egg, fruit salad, three variety of sweets depends on day, three variety of meat, soup, corn flakes, oats, nuts, honey, two variety of jam, three variety of fruit(apple, orange and banana), etc. So for breakfast mostly you would everything in the castle :). Hope this information maybe informative and helpful for you in near future.

My College Life.... Part 1

                 At last my school friends went to their class.  Anyway I got seat in last bench and I was happy. One professor came to my class and gave a paper to all, regarding  rules and regulation of the great PSR Engineering College. 

              He also started reading the rules. I  listened very carefully because that was going to decide my college life. One guy turned to the girl’s side and watched girls without listening to the professor.  The professor was noticed that guy and told to him, “Read Rule No 1”. Rule number one is “You should not speak to opposite sex”. Everyone laughed. That man was Seenu who sat with me in the last bench throughout my college life.

                 In my class lot of beauties were there, so we were very happy at that time. I was a very silent guy in my class.

Netherland Weather Report

Hi all,

Sorry for not updating all about the trips and seeing you through blog. I was busy with Project and as well as talking with my family. I am really missing India. I have to update all the happenings to my family. They are also waiting for my call at evening. We have chill climate here and i sleep for more than 9 hours a day. Till yesterday, we were able to see sun and had bright day. Yesterday, Hans informed that as per weather report coming days will be cloudy. The weather was cloudy today as he said. The weather reports are 100% accurate here.

My First Air Travel Part-5

Hi All,

In this blog I gonna to continue the saga of my first air travel experience, after some five minutes I heard an announcement coming from Fly Emirates counter that we can enter into the flight(EK 147). During that time we saw Jan Baan, he was sitting opposite to us and I smiled at him. But he didn't smile in turn, he just turn his face other side because he didn't know who am I and why I smiled at him. So I was wondering, how to make him aware that we were working for Vanenburg Software so that he will just smile at us.

I immediately, removed my jacket and I wanted him to see my t-shirt. Since it was our company t-shirt(Vanenburg t-shirt) and I was doing some gestures in front of him so that he will get some attention towards me and he will see my t-shirt at some instance, as I expected he saw my t-shirt and the Vanenburg Logo in it. Then immediately he stood up and came to us then he shook our hands and wished us good morning, how are you doing guys? we told him that we are doing good.

Then he asked us why you guys are here? I told him that we are here for Getronics customer project. He told us Yes Yes.. that was a great project for us and he also added we will get some more projects from them in coming years. Then he asked us how is the weather guys? I told him that it was too cold, he laughed at me and told us Yes Yes.. its true. But if you guys are in The Netherlands for few weeks you guys will be used to it. Probably he was right nowadays we used to it :).

Then he asked us how we came from Coimbatore and how was our travel experience? we explained him that we came from Coimbatore to Hyderabad, then from Hyderabad to Dubai and in turn I asked him, how you came from Coimbatore? he told us that he traveled from Coimbatore to Chennai, then from Chennai to Dubai. Then he asked us, how you guys are going to reach the castle? Is there anyone will pick up us from the Amsterdam airport?

We told him that Hans Don has arranged a cab for us, so no problem in reaching the castle, in turn he told Ya Ya.. that's good. Then he shook our hands again and told us see you guys in the castle, bye have a nice day and left us. I felt very happy that I had a talk with Jan Baan, since was I expected only a smile in turn from him and it was very rare to have a talk with him.

My college life…

                                  After long discussion with all my family members I joined in the P.S.R Engineering College which is located nearby my home town.  That time I accepted the decision for my mom. My father and uncle is also had the same thought of joining me in the college but the purpose is different my mom ask me to join in that college to keep me in home, My father’s and Uncle thought was if they send me to Chennai or Coimbatore colleges means my behavior may change that is their concern . Finally I nodded my head. 

   

                                 Two of my school classmates joined in the same college. There were happy while I told them about my family decision. Other friends told like don’t go PSR College, because we heard lot of story about the PSR College like they won’t allow us to speak with girls, we have to score high otherwise they will through you out, they will treat us like the school children and important thing  is  we can’t funk class like our school. So I said this to my mom.  She gave one offer that was if you feel bad in PSR College within one year we can change college. I was happy with this condition.

                                   I joined in the Electronics and communication engineering. In my college first semester they aren’t split based on the department which we had already taken.  My two school friends also sat with me in my section but they were belonging to other sections.  One staff asked them to go to their class. So they were gone to office room for changing section, but they haven’t succeeded.

Am I becoming fat?

From the last couple of weeks , I am receiving a comment that I am fat. My mom never tells me that I am fat but I was surprised to hear from her that I have become fat.Even I received few comments from my friends.I was even surprised to see that even my weight has increased around 2 kg.

I started analyzing the solution to reduce my weight.I got some solutions to reduce my weight.I have to implement these solutions to reduce my weight. I feel its tough for me to follow the solutions because the first among them is to change my food habits. I am addicted towards milk and its products, I never mind having it any time.This is the first thing which I should reduce.

Second solution is to have good exercise in morning hours and play an outdoor game regularly.I have started implementing this one.As it is very easy for me because from my childhood and love to play outdoor games rather than indoor.I have started to jog from Tuesday.I dont know till when it will carry on but I will strive to do it.

There are many other ways to improve like riding bicycle, stop eating creams etc..like this the list goes on.

I wont agree if any person tells to me that I am fat because I have increased by 2 kg.Any way I will reduce it in upcoming days.I will make a post regarding my fitness after a couple of weeks.

Dinner with Hans Don's Family

Hi All,

Today evening, Velshankar and I went to Hans Don home for dinner and it was a great experience for me, when I was spending sometime with his kids. Especially his last son(two year old kid) was very naughty and he always try to do some funny things to make guests(Velshankar and me) attention towards him, for the dinner we had Macaroni Salad and Vanilla Yogurt. While we were having dinner we had lots of fun(mostly because of his last son) and shared our India culture with Hans Don's family also they shared their culture with us.

Then after dinner Hans Don, Velshankar, Hans Don's first son and I went for a walk on the road near by his house. During that time also we had some half a hour of talk regarding official, personal, culture, etc. When we came back to his house his last son was sleeping and I asked Hans, why he slept so soon. He told me, that was their culture and they were very strict in that and only his second son(Peter) was there in the living room and waiting for us.

After that in the living room, we again had talk with Hans Don and his wife for some half a hour. During the talk I came to know that his sons and wife were eagerly waiting to visit India and have a family tour in our country. Then Hans Don dropped us in the castle around 8:45PM and left. His house was some sixty to seventy kilometers from our castle but he able to drove in just thirty odd minutes, maybe because of good road condition and no traffic.

Week end....

           In this blog I thought of sharing my last weekend events, which was spend with my college friends. After long time I have seen group of college friends. On that time we have shared all incidents which make us laugh. I want to thank god for getting good friends. Whatever happens we are still inside the friendship bond.    In my life lot of unforgettable incidents happened. Everything makes me to feel happy; nothing makes me to feel bad. 

     

           Vel Murugan, Venkatesh, Stalin, Rengaraj, Srithar (Not me), Sekar were came to my native town. Morning we went to Murugan temple. In the lake we sat together and we started kidding each other based on the old incidents.

My Update.

Last week Thursday at communication session I made a presentation on benefits of using Linux operating system preferred to windows operating system. The preparation helps me to understand the functional need of a kernel for a system. It creates me interest to start exploration on the kernel governing rules. I hope I will start within few days.

Right now I’m working in CFP File synchronization project. This will be an enhancement feature for CPF. Functionality taken into scope at this stage has limitation for outlook mail client alone. I future this can be extended to diversified level. I feel this will be powerful tool for CPF.

Trip to Zotermeer Part-2

Hi All,

This blog is a continuation of my previous blog, we went to track number two to catch the train that was going to Amersfoort(a city of Netherlands) and from there we need to catch the connecting train to Gouda(a city of Netherlands). Then from Gouda we need to catch train to reach our destination Zotermeer and it was a great experience. From this, I felt like in Netherlands we won't get lost because wherever we are there will be some information about that place and near by places in all railway stations, you can find a sample image and video of it in below and also people in Netherlands were ready to help with smile.

We reach Zotermeer around 12:23PM and the trains will arrive and depart at exact time and we can't find that punctuality in our country. Then we went out of the Zotermeer railway station where Velshankar's relation's friend(Sandeep) was waiting for us. In his car, he took us to Media Market(One the Europe's largest shopping mall). Initially I thought of buying some gadgets but after seeing the prices, I changed my mind not to buy here because price for the gadgets were slightly higher compared to our country.

Then Sandeep told us in surprise, Hey guys coming to Europe and not buying any gadgets! I told him that its expensive compared to India. Then he told okay and asked us, what's next? I asked him to take us to some chocolate shops to buy chocolates for our Indian colleagues. Then he took us to one of the famous chocolate shop in Zotermeer, there we brought some three kilogram of chocolates. Then he took us to his home for lunch and after a week we had good Indian meal. Then Velshankar and I played with his daughter(two and a half year old) for a while and around 4:30PM we told Sandeep that brother we are leaving.

He told NO NO, be for some more time, we told him that in night along with this cold Netherlands climate its too hard to walk one and a half kilometer. Then he told okay fine at least have coffee and then leave. We told him okay, then he asked his wife to prepare coffee for us. After having coffee, we started around 5PM from his home by his car and he dropped us in the railway station. Here also we faced the same problem for booking tickets as we faced in the morning. But this time there was a young couple who helped us for booking tickets using their debit card.

We reached the Hub(where the guests has to prepare food on their own on weekend) 7:15PM and we had some food over there. Around 7:40PM, we reached the castle since Hub was half a kilometer from our castle. Hub was also a great place to visit our castle, it will be silent and very pleasant to be there. Trip to Zotermeer

Hi All,

Last Saturday, Velshankar and I went to Zotermeer, a town hundred kilometer from our castle. In this blog I wish to share those experience with you all. On last Wednesday, When we told Hans Don that we are going to Zotermeer for the weekend. He told us, if we need he will arrange for cab for weekend trip. But we told him that we will use public transport instead of private mode of transport because if we use public mode of transport, we can gain some knowledge about Netherlands. The we asked Hans Don details regarding how to travel from Putten to Zotermeer using public transport. He guide us, how to reach Zotermeer by public train service using Google Maps. Also he gave his visiting card and he added, if we need any help we can call him anytime.

As we decided on Saturday, around 9:30AM from castle we started walking to Putten railway station, which was some one and half kilometer walk and we reached around 10AM. We need to book tickets for our trip, so I asked one guy who was waiting for some train in the station. He redirect us to the ticket machine, since there was no ticket counter there. I tried to book tickets but I was not able to do, because my debit card didn't work and ticket machine shows its a invalid debit card. We didn't know what to do?, but there was another option for payment using coins.

We didn't have coins, only Euro currency in papers. So we asked help for the guy who redirects us to the ticket machine and he told us that he will pay using his debit card, so that we can give him equivalent amount. Since ticket cost for both of us was twenty seven Euros, we were not able to provide exact amount in return because we had denominations of 10,20 and 50. We gave him thirty Euros but he told us, he didn't have change and I went to get change from some shop. But no shops were opened at that time.

That guy told us, it's time and he need to caught his train and went. We were waiting in front of the ticket machine for getting help from someone. One old man came on the way after some fifteen minutes, smiled and told to me Good Morning, I thought better to ask help from him. So I approached and asked for help for booking tickets. Thank God! without any problem, he booked tickets for us and gave handshakes and told have a nice day and he went.
